A brilliant, Walloon invention to help patients suffering from hemiplegia quickly regain their autonomy: a “rolling cane”!
Geoffroy Dellicour is a physical therapist in neurological rehabilitation at the William Lennox Neurological Hospital Center. His job? He works daily on the rehabilitation of his hemiplegic patients (paralysis of one or more body parts on one side). Alongside this, he shares his knowledge as a technical advisor in the continuing education of young neuro-physical therapists at UCL and Parnasse. Drawing on his experience, an idea emerged to help his patients regain their autonomy more quickly: a “rolling cane”.
