On March 24, 2025, she suffered a stroke. Revalidation began &#8211; and with it, the discovery of walking aids.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His first reaction when he saw the Wheeleo\u00ae was fear. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I said to myself: if I have to walk with this, I&#8217;m going to fall, I&#8217;ll never make it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s an honest reaction, and one no doubt familiar to many therapists. Whereas here, it just follows your step &#8211; and you&#8217;re off.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This difference is not insignificant for someone undergoing neurological rehabilitation: the less conscious attention the<br\/>gait requires of the tool, the more the patient can focus his cognitive resources on the movement itself.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">His message: don&#8217;t remain apprehensive<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ms Leonet concludes with a direct address to those where she was:<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Test it!
